This forum was previously know as the Travel South Yorkshire Forum, but was renamed on the 01/05/2008 to South Yorkshire Transport Forum or just SYTF. This forum was founded on the 7th February 2006.

South Yorkshire Transport Fleetlists provides fleetlists for the major bus operators operating in and around the South Yorkshire area. These include Arriva Yorkshire, B Line Travel, First Mainline, Stagecoach in Chesterfield, Stagecoach in Sheffield, Stagecoach Yorkshire, Stageciach, Supertram Link, Tates Travel & Tm Travel plus many more. This website was founded on the 7th October 2007, although the website was change extensively on the 14th February 2008.

South Yorkshire Transport Website provides information on public transport in the South Yorkshire area. The website is split into 5 catogories and these are,

• Air Travel - Information on Arrivals & Departures, How to get to the Aiport, Information on the Airport, Destinations, Airlines & General information about the airport.

• Bus Travel - Information on Bus services, Timetables, Service Changes, Network Maps, Interchanges,The Overground, Yournextbus, Fare Information & General information about buses.

• Rail Travel - Information on Network Maps, Stations, Interchanges, Routes, Network Maps & General information about rail services in the South Yorkshire area.

• Road Travel - Information on Live Traffic Cameras, Lastest Road Updates, Roadworks & General information about the roads in the South Yorkshire area.

• Tram Travel - Information on Network Maps, Stations, Park & Ride, Fare Information, Interchanges, Routes, Network Maps & General information about tram services in the Sheffield area.

This website was founded on the 29th October 2006, although the website was change extensively on the 10th March 2007.

This forum was founded on the 26th May 2007.

Dearne Bus - No longer available online

Dearne Bus was never launched on the internet and was going to be a local information site for the Dearne Valley area, although this was later replaced by the TSY Portal and now the new South Yorkshire Transport Website, which now covers all of South Yorkshire making it easier to operate and maintain.

Doncaster Bus - No longer available online

Doncaster Bus was never launched on the internet and was going to be a local information site for the Dearne Valley area, although this was later replaced by the TSY Portal and now the new South Yorkshire Transport Website, which now covers all of South Yorkshire making it easier to operate and maintain.

Sheffield & Rotherham Bus - No longer available online

Sheffield & Rotherham Bus (formally Sheffield Bus) was a website which provided information on public transport in the Sheffield & Rotherham areas just like South Yorkshire Transport Website does currently, although the website was just based on the buses side of public transport and based just in the Sheffield & Rotherham area, although there was a section for the Supertram network in Sheffield also. This website was launched on the 7th January 2006 and closed on the 23rd July 2007.

Sheffield City Traffic Watch - No longer available online

Sheffield City Traffic Watch was a website for all travel information in the Sheffield area including live traffic cameras (which can now be viewed in the Road Travel section of the South Yorkshire Transport Website. It also housed other information such as live traffic alerts in the Sheffield area, Roadworks in the Sheffield area and other general information about traffic and travel in the Sheffield area. This website was launched on the 10th June 2007 and closed on the 29th October 2007 when the website was incorporated into the TSY Portal.

Travel Chesterfield Forum - No longer available online

Travel Chesterfield Forum (travelcf) was a forum based in the Chesterfield area in Derbyshire. This forum was launched on the 11th December 2006 and closed on the 25th February 2007 due the merger with Travel East Midlands Forum.

Travel East Midlands Forum - http://www.travelem.proboards67.com

Travel East Midlands Forum provides information on transport issues and views in the East Midlands area (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicstershire & Rutland) and is an online forum for Transport Enthusiats, Employees & the general public to discuss the latest views and issues regarding transport in the East Midlands area. This forum was founded on the 25th February 2007. This forum was no longer part of the SYT Group as of 1/7/08.

Travel Greater Manchester Forum - No longer available online

Travel Greater Manchester Forum (travelgmr) was a forum based in the Greater Manchester area, but sadly it never took off with no more than 20 members so the decision was taken to close the forum down on the 15th May 2007. This forum was launched on the 16th March 2007 and closed on the 15th May 2007 due to lack of use.

TSY Portal - No longer available online

TSY Portal (Travel South Yorkshire Portal) was a website based to act as a portal and link all the websites in the TSY Group (now SYT Group) into one website just like this portal which is now the SYT Portal and not the TSY Portal. The portal also included information on the foundations of all the websites (such as on this webpage) and also incorporated a links section along with live traffic cameras across South Yorkshire, although these can now be viewed on the South Yorkshire Transport Website, in the Road Travel section of the website. The TSY Portal was launched on the 1st November 2007 and was closed on the 1st May 2008 due to the opening of the new South Yorkshire Transport Website & SYT Portal due to the name change of the Travel South Yorkshire Group. The portal is still available online and will just act as a redirect page to this webpage for the forseable future.
